Climbing trees is good exercise for mind and body: it works arms, legs, core, joints; and it keeps you aware and mindful of what you are doing. It, like everything else we do — drive, use cell phones, use knives, use medicine — is dangerous if done wrong and mindlessly, but has minimal risk if done mindfully and safely. Climbing a tree is like solving a vertical movement puzzle. It is good for the brain.
