Schedule: This is a 1-hour class.

Format: Lecture with some class participation. No grading; homework is optional.

Cost: $20 per person for a group class of 4 or more students; $80 for one-on-one tutoring.

Payment options: Payments can be made via PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, cash, or check.

Materials: Pencil and paper.

Class Description.

We will discuss some ways you can make yourself and those you care about healthier by taking a look at human health and its causes. (Note: this is not medical advice. For medical advice, please see a doctor.)

We will discuss some dietary factors, lifestyle factors, and ecological factors that you can use to make your immune system function better, and make you function better as a whole person. We cannot make ourselves immune from any and all disease for all times — we are not “bullet proof” — but we can take steps to try to achieve optimal possible health.

And we can open some pathways to future thought, exploration, and improvement.

Learning Goals.
To know some dietary factors that boost our immune system.
To know the importance of sleep to health and well-being.
To know some basics about how vaccines work in relation to our biology and immune system.
To know some lifestyle factors that help you be healthier.
To know some ecological factors that help you be healthier.
