Temperature Update of the Day

This morning around 10 AM, my temperature was about 96.4 F. Around 3 PM it was 97.6 F. Coming back up to “normal” after that dang flu! Thank goodness! I can, of course, feel a difference in my (slowly) increasing physical activity and in a lessening mental sluggishness. The flu must have given me a good romping that is taking some time to clean up after. If it was the flu; or if it was only the flu. I don’t know what would cause this kind of depression of temperature after being sick; I would expect my temperature to just kick back up to “normal.” But there would seem to be an “evolutionary” reason for temperature to stay low after being sick: a decreased activity level, giving a person the inclination to take the time to get better. Update: It’s 97 F  at 8:45 PM.
