I love what I do. I go beyond improved grades and Valedictorian-level grades, I go beyond improved study skills — I can train (and have trained) students in logic and reasoning as I get them that better grade or train them in some study skill.
Not only do I have successes like this: a student, Tyler, made a 96 on his algebra final exam at one of the top private schools in Texas, and a 98 for the year (2016-2017). That’s top, as in top 10 in Texas and top 100 in the entire nation.
But I also have successes like few others, as shown by quotes like this one of Dylan T, ex-high school student now in his 20s: “I really did learn more than geometry and math taking classes with you. I learned to reason and use logic to start solving things in everyday life. It’s pretty useful at work when I use reasoning to find root causes, and to find and fix problems. You teach people how to THINK!”
Amen. Love it. That makes it worthwhile.
