We need more reason and logic in schools. A dearth of it leads to people having their conceptual thought severed from their perceptual awareness of reality.
We need training in method and technique to know how to correctly think conceptually. No such training leads to people being lost and confused, frustrated and angry.
Logic, the art and science of keeping one’s concepts true to reality, leads to knowing fully who and what we are dealing with, and hence to better understanding the “other” and able to care for the “other.” Logic is requisite for being able to love fully and live fully.
