If you want to be an engineer or scientist, please be self-driven and get to know math better than is taught in most schools — their standards are low. Too low for anyone, abysmal for you. How often do I see students with poor math skills going into engineering, only to have their illusions shattered about how good at math and how well prepared they are. Wish I never saw that.
For the love of your life, do the math. Please.
