R.I.P. Kaitlin 2018

Kaitlin. Lived, loved, and thrived 1-12-2003 to 9-5/6-2018. She was a daughter of a feral momma cat, born in the country, north of Austin, TX. (You see Kaitlin’s brother Tobi in some of the pictures below.) She loved nature, loved her solitude, loved to eat and play, but loved me more. When she was young, she climbed up my jeans to hang on, be near me, and get petted. She almost always greeted me when I came home. She demanded — and got — attention every morning after her — and before my — breakfast: she would sit on the floor and meow/cry till I pet her. In the last few years, we developed a habit: after my shower but before my shave, I would sit down on the floor and give her attention for probably half hour. I love you Kaitlin.
