Driving Writing

A quote from Guide for Teaching How to Write a Story by Lee Roddy: “Have the child point out the situation the character faced at the start of the story. What problem did that cause? What goal (objective) did he want? What were some of his obstacles? How did it end (outcome)?” Ask and answer questions of yourself! That’s how thinking is driven! Yes! To be more effective and happy in life, we need to be better thinkers, and to be better thinkers, we need to write more and to improve our writing.
