Calculus, Semester 2

Enroll on Outschool, or contact me to set up a course for a small group.

In this course, we will learn calculus on a high school/college level. This course will be about equivalent to an AP Calculus AB course, semester 2. Recommended for students who plan to go into science, engineering, medical, or other careers that need calculus.

During the course we will learn more than calculus – – we will learn some history and logic and physics and chemistry and biology and finance and more. We will make you well-prepared for future math and science courses, and more able to use math in everyday life.

We will have a mix of lecture, Q&A, and in-class work. We will have some interactive lecture in which students practice concepts and techniques as we go, and some assigned homework, which we will use the next class to check student progress. Class progress will follow the needs of the students.

Prerequisites: geometry, algebra 2, and precalculus (including trig).
