My Oil Choice

I was running low on olive oil so I picked some up at the grocery store today. I have been buying Berio, which was not mentioned in the article “Slippery Business” by Tom Mueller, thank goodness, but which nevertheless I wondered about. Was it authentic extra virgin oil, or was it adulturated with hazelnut oil or low-quality olive oil? I don’t know. I’d have to do some research on that question. I saw some Lucini, which Dr. Weil likes — but it was $20 a bottle. I looked around; HEB had a lot to choose from, but had no Adam’s Ranch or Bariani. I ended up getting some Napa Valley Naturals “Rich and Robust Extra Virgin Olive Oil.” Looks from the Website like it’s pure, true extra virgin olive oil, not the adulturated stuff.
