Optimal thought and optimal fitness through reason, logic, science, passion, and wisdom.

Being successful in school and at learning requires movement. Montessori (real Montessori) lets children move. Conventional education needs to change and improve: it immobilizes students too much. Yeah, we need some stillness at times to write and read and listen, but chronic stillness is bad for our bodies, brains, and minds.

“Nothing speeds brain atrophy more than being immobilized in the same environment. The monotony undermines our dopamine and attentional systems crucial to maintaining brain plasticity.” –The Brain That Changes Itself by Dr. Norman Doidge.

This is a description of conventional education. Conventional education gets an F in this regard.
